Go to the Brookstone store in the mall spend 1/2 hour sitting in the $4000 dollar shiatzu massage chair thats what I do 
get some epsom salts and take a hot bath soak for an hour have a couple shots of rye some pain killers and hopefully when you wake up it'll be better if its not in a day or two go to your doc could be more then muscle.
Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I got this back support thing-basically a girdle and wrapped it as tightly as I could around my lower back. It helped soothe the pain, but it took a sold week to clear up.
