im wanting to know if there is anything i can add to my existing community tank. its a 20 long. its in the process of becoming well planted (already have a few plants). my stocking so far consists of 1 CT fighter, about 10 ember tetras, 1 banjo catfish, 4 corys, and about 9 black kuhli loaches. i know adding them all up makes it seem like a lot already but they are all very low waste producers and my tank stays very clean and well maintained. any thoughts on suitable tank mates? inverts are ok too.

equipment im using: fluval 3 plus underwater filter, visi-therm stealth 100 heater, coralife 30" 65 watt T5 lighting unit. i keep the temp at about 79F.

also, i need a way to cut down on the current the filter makes, iv got it on low and my betta stills seems to not like it. suggestions?

eh i wouldnt reckomend putting any thing else in there, theres a few other factors than waste to take into consideration fish become stressed out when theres lots of other fish in a confined area also oxygen fish can suffocate easy when theres lots of others remember the basic one inch of fish per gallon rule and you should be fine hoss

Yeah I think your pretty much stocked. Your fluval 3 plus should have some sort of flow control on it.

Adjust the water jet direction by moving the horizontal
water outlet from side to side. (F) Adjust the water flow
rate by moving the waterflow adjuster from + to –.

You can also aim the jet towards something like the tank glass to diffuse the output.
