any suggestions on a good sand?

Previously in my tanks, I had pool filter sand, due to how cheap it was and it didn't look half bad. I had to get rid of it all though in my move. Now, im curious what my options are for a cheap aquarium sand other than PFS. Any suggestions?

Justin (JK47) uses "Lapis Luster" or something like that. It looks really nice and is fairly cheap, I believe.

Better than scorching heat, and a 115 degrees. Its actually bright and sunny where im at in oregon right now.
