Any suggestions on lighting?

I'd like to upgrade the lighting on my 75g S. American tank. I don't want to break the bank, but I'm willing to spend a little extra if it would be worth it.

Any suggestions?

we have a Aqualight H.O. T-5 Dual Lamp by coralife on one of our 75's and were very happy with it.look around and can get one for $99.

Can't go wrong with a T5 VHO. I'd pick up a retrokit if you already have a hood.

are you sure it's a t5 t5's don't come in a standard 32 watt size t8's do. to retrofit in one you would have to swap out the ballasts to a t5HO ballast and if your lighting is t8 you would need to wire in new endpins.

To retrofit you'll need a new ballast, and if you're gonna do anything you're better off going with a 2 lamp fixture so that you can have a standard lamp and a colormax lamp.
