Hello again all!

My canopy is finished and I'm putting it on my tank tomorrow, which means I will be taking a trip to get some live plants.

I have 6x100watt bulbs above the glass tops in my 125 gallon. I have 4.8 WPG but I don't know how much light blocking the glass tops do.

Anybody have some ideas for beautiful plants I could buy? Possibly pictures?

I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Thanks!

Co2 will go a long way. If you dont have it, you can use excel, but dosing on a tank this size in the short term even will cost you more than a basic co2 setup.

I would go with large, tough plants. Anubias and swords might be a good place to start. Working onto lilies, floaters, and maybe crypts, etc.

4.8 is insanely high. I would almost suggest a layer of floaters on top to dim down the lighting in the tank.

Using "onion plants" would also work, but some people that use excel say that they melt.

I could sell you red root floaters if you were interested, just PM me.
