Hi, yet another question!!

I am setting up a new 50USG tank, very soon and want to put 4 silver dollars, 1 Dehlzi bichir, 1 rainbow snakehead, an Indo or a Thinbar Dat and wanted a cichlid that is not preditory but has lots of personality, any ideas? preferable one that doesnt shoal and maxes out at about 20cm. Also would like it to be active but doesnt swim about the tank wildly as the other tank inmates would be calm. Would be nice if it stays in the top sector of the tank but is not nessesary. I am at a loss of what to do!!

ALL THESE FISH WOULD NOT BE KEPT IN A 50G FOR LIFE!!

thanks
Matt

you dont have room for all those fish in the first place let alone another one, go with the silver dollars and maybe the del or snakehead

I agree. You say you plan on upgrading, but when will you upgrade and how big will your tank be? If you have all those fish in a 50 and then add a severum or something, your tank will be a mess.

Thanks maybe i should give another fish a miss

i will be giving them to a freind with a very big tank, he cant be bothered to grow them up, i dont have the room for adults. I am not sure of exact measurements ect but i think his tanks about 2metres long and about 200USG?

The snakehead SHOULD be O.K. I am adding him in at a later date when so he wont be the biggest in the tank.

Thanks-will give another fish a miss!

Won't the snakehead create havock in that tank?
Nah rainbow snakeheads (Channa bleheri) are placid dwarves which get to only 15cm. I'd be worried about the Datnoid or whatever cichlid he's putting in there eating the SH.
