I've never ordered fish online so im new to that. Would it work out well if i ordered fish through a website with FedEx Ground.. How long will it take to get here.. and how long can fish be in a bag with out dying? I was gonna order six fish but Im a little skepticle about that. They dont guarantee when using fedex ground they only guarantee when using overnight.. any help will be appretiated thanks:D

I've no info regarding the shipping, just curious if overnight is guaranteed why not use that?

Always use the method that gets the fish to you fastest and has a gaurantee!
I agree.

If money is a concern I would say buying at a pet store would work out better. $$$ is the main reason I don't order fish. If you decide to order the fish, I would go with the fastest shipment...there is a reason they don't guarantee them with ground (good chance the fish won't make it :( )

Yeah its $80 in my area for overnight... Ive been looking for the Vieja Argentae for a while but no one seems to carry them except for that website.. So I guess Ill keep looking around locally.. Thanks for everyones opinions really did help on my decision...

What state do you live in? You might get lucky and find an MFK vendor located in/near your state.

I'm lucky enough to live in Florida and have made a couple purchases from Snookn21 (MFK Vendor in Florida). For most (if not all?) Florida residents its only $15 shipping charge next-day UPS. I'm happy with my fish :D and $15 won't keep me from ordering fish I want...but $80 will :grinno:

I don't even browse other online fish stores/vendors anymore, as most places charge a minimum $40 shipping (and thats probably not even next-day).

Goodluck!

I guess it could take anywhere from one day to seven days. It really depends on where the business that you are purchasing from is located. Some people get fish shipped two days, I would never trust it. I have always had fish shipped overnight and I have never had a doa or any shipping related death for that matter.

IMHO-

If I had been looking for a long time for something that I really wanted and then found it...

I would not hesitate!

Get the fish... Life is short!!!!!!

I was having coffee at a Starbucks this morning and saw a friend who I have not seen in quite a while.

I asked..."how have you been...?"

He told me that he was freaked out because he would find out later on today if he in fact has cancer...

Get the fish... Life is short!

But what do I know... I only sell life insurance... and I never talked to him about it until today.... and he is uninsurable at least for the moment.

Life is short... The hell with the shipping... get the fish... Get the new tank.... Get whatever...

But what do I know...?

Well, I know that I would get the fish!!!

mm

PS/ What is the website again...?
