I have an 18 inch rtc x tsn hybrid that I got two weeks ago from a friend. He resides in my 300 gallon with my other big fish. He was unfortunately in pretty bad shape when I got him. I was told he was pellet trained but I cannot seem to get him to eat now. I have tried everything I know of. He took bloodworms for a few days and now wont even touch them. I even tried putting a good size piece into his mouth physically and he still wont eat it. He's becoming very skinny and all he does now is sit and swim in the current of my powerhead.

Ive tried...

live feeders
frozen shrimp
frozen bloodworms
Hikari staple pellets
Hikari massivore pellets
Hikari carnivore pellets
Spirulina wafers
algae wafers
freeze dried krill
and some large koi pellets

I am out of options in my house, can anybody suggest something that might work? I do not want to see him go because he wouldn't eat.

Seems like everything you have tried is pretty small.

How long have you had the fish? Hunger strikes are not uncommon.

I would try raw market shrimp, this stuff is great for getting fish to feed.

Yeah Ive had fish do it before but this is the most extensive Ive had a fish holdout for. Thats what I have been buying. Everything else I have eats them. It is the white gulf shrimp from heb.

I thaw out the frozen shrimp but the bloodworms I give to them frozen, otherwise they have a hard time eating it because it is so little. He finally ate some massive pellets because I stuck my hand in the tank and actually put them in his mouth. He ate about 5 and then started spitting them out.
