Pretty much common variety. What I am asking is are the pearl scales come from a past texasxFH cross breeding or are they just a result of selective breeding?
 
I could be wrong, but don't most flowerhorns have texas in them. I know it's a secret and whatever, but isn't it pretty common knowledge that texas is an ingredient.

I guess that that is plausible, but I think that in an average flowerhorn, the pearls are from a texas. The fish in the first picture especially looks alot like a Texas even without the pearls anyway.
