Any texas in this fish?

Pretty much common variety. What I am asking is are the pearl scales come from a past texasxFH cross breeding or are they just a result of selective breeding?

I could be wrong, but don't most flowerhorns have texas in them. I know it's a secret and whatever, but isn't it pretty common knowledge that texas is an ingredient.

don't automatically assume pearls come from texas. pearls can come from many other fish. is this instance it looks like festae pearls to me.

I guess that that is plausible, but I think that in an average flowerhorn, the pearls are from a texas. The fish in the first picture especially looks alot like a Texas even without the pearls anyway.
