Talking about a WC ray - about 9" across motoro. Started off eating feeders and worms and grass shrimp. Moved him over to chopped shrimp and after about a month he just stopped eating? Still fat but no interest in chopped shrimp. If you put a night-crawler in front of him he will eat it but very lazily. He was a very aggressive eater for first few months and now he just dont care about food and only will eat live worms! He is re-greasing???? All tank parameters are perfect. Other 2 girl rays eat anything you feed them! Any thoughts on this? no damage or anything like that can be seen from outside. he seems overall a little less active than he was in the past.

any thoughts?

If WC then maybe internal parasites or worms? Have you treated it with prazi etc?

If so then anything else in tank changed that could have just stressed it out a bit?

Nothing new in the tank, nothing changed. Have not treated, but inporter had it for a month, and its bin here for 3 months. Only had issues last week or 2. Should he just blindly treat with a meds of some sort? He will still eat night crawlers. He just eats um slowly. He use too inhale them!

Not sure what is going on with the Ray my best bet is some sort of internal parasites.

Like you said he would eat them like crazy but now won't. A healthy Ray will never turn down food ever. My male rays can literally can eat so much they look pregnant lol I don't over feed but at times one Ray gets a lot more food than the other

Yeah internal parasites and worms are strange, the ray can be fine for several months and they seem to lat dormant and then all of sudden seem to affect them.

It definitely sounds like that so I would treat with prazi, which is extremely safe for use with rays. A lot of people use prazi every 6 months or so just to keep a clean bill of health for the rays as they can be prone to picking things up from new tankmates etc.

where would be a Good Place to Purchase that From (probably gona get from KENS)
/ He is eating a few worms at a time now, Just not aggressively?

Yes prazi pro. Here in uk is sold as fluke solve.

A powder is the one you want. The liquid is just the powder mixed up with god knows what else to make it liquid! Lol

A tiny scoop treats like 300gal

well - I dosed Prazi on Sunday and today he was much more active! He is still eating worms but still not as aggressively as B4. I am thinking the Prazi was the right treatment. He looked MUCH better today than he has in a few weeks. He is still healthy - just was not active b4. Thanks for the advice! I will fallow Prazi treatment protocol and I am hopeful that in a week or so everything should be back to how it was, I hope!
