I just got my fist FW stingray to day, its motoro ray about 3-4 inches across. its in a 10 gallon tank at the moment and what is better sand or a bare tank?

wow... tiny tank.. Get that ray in that 55asap. Sand can help small rays feel safe. But bare-bottom is much cleaner. But please get it in a bigger tank asap!!! lots of blackworms and clean water!!! Good luck.

i have a 55 but i have a large pacu in it and im trying to get rid of it

Unfortunately neither of your fish are suitable for a 55 gal tank. Chances are, you'll quickly become overwhelmed with poor water quality and both will die unless you get a much bigger tank in the near future.

you may as well have left the ray in the bag you brought it home in it would have had more space in the bag

did you do ANY resurch on rays before you brought the motoro
