Are there any true freshwater puffers that are good with tankmates? I know it's a longshot but thought maybe someone would know of one that I didnt.

my DP's are ok with stuff, barbs tetras glass cats, rasboras, glassfish, loaches. the only things they seemed to pick on were cories and otos.
but people keep telling me it can't be done.
so i imagine any ONE puffer could have a kind streak.

hey i should be the last person to tell anyone that certain fish will not work with other kinds of fish. Ive put some weird stuff together, and seen some weird stuff put together. Sometimes things click and you dont have any problems. Other times bad things happen and you end up with one puffer and pieces of fish all over the place.

Your best bet are the South American puffers but they need regular teeth trimming. I have a modestus living with a 6" Royal pleco but he killed all his other tank mates.
