Any UK members have a native tank

Like with perch n pike Wels catfish grass common and mirror Carp. Or maybe trout Chubb bream barbell. Is it difficult to keep a UK native tank would u need a chiller. Do they do well in captivity. U always see native tanks from other countries what about the UK.

You would'nt need a chiller. The problem with keeping the species you have discribed in aquaria is the size they get and amount of waste they produce. Perch on the other hand stay small. I have seen a native uk tank in my local angling shop. These sorts of fish do much better in ponds. Wels catfish reaches 100's of lb
 
Thats because the UK has boring dull native fish that only really work in a pond. a native pond is an awesome Idea but with all of the cool fish available to put in your aquarium why would you choose to have HUGE dull uk natives?
 
I was just curious n pike wouldnt b that boring. I know wels are to big just an example

Pike would be cool, but you would need a huge tank, and if you had that size tank wouldn't you rather fill it with awesome monsters than one big ulgy pike?
 
Yeah that would b cool. Ive been scuba diving quite alot in UK waters n on a calm day with good visibility its quite beautiful. Even if it is bloody cold lol
