yeah that is pretty normal at 6.5 to start having kok. remember this are not the new generations of flowerhorns. the new generations have koks at 3 inches.Cohazard;2558250; said:Nobody else has any?
Is there such a thing as 'late bloomers' in the FH scene?
I ask because my two big males (appx 6.5" full length) are starting to show a notch on their foreheads!
I thought they would be kokless, but their head shape is definitely changing.
I'll try to take some good pics but I get annoyed by how much my camera kills their color.
lol yeah and the newest newest have it at 1 inch lolbabychris;2561678; said:yeah that is pretty normal at 6.5 to start having kok. remember this are not the new generations of flowerhorns. the new generations have koks at 3 inches.
paul you have to get more than one or two. you cannot expect to get a really nice one if you are buying only one or two flowerhorns especially if they are small. the reason why cohazzard have some nice ones coz the previous owner bought about 50 fry's from me and picked which ones to keep and which ones to get rid off. remember all fry's wont turn out nice about 50% of the batch will only be keepers.christ4paul;2561486; said:ive noticed the golden platinums when they grow they have black markings on their head and body. its a healthy fish but i dont know seems like it didnt turn out the way i expected
