So a while back I ordered a rio araguia oscar from tangled up in cichlids and am quite happy with it! But recently my LFS had "wild" oscars on the availability sheet so I had some ordered. They look really cool so I grabbed them but really weird markings. Wondering who still has any from any of our vendors or anywhere else. First two will be my araguia then the small guys are mystery ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1386624613.768676.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1386624641.108769.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1386624656.298636.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1386624666.392778.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1386624678.286452.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1386624688.000661.jpg

Those are some great lookin' wild O's! I personally prefer their natural coloration over most of the fancy O's. I picked up an Araguaia from Jeff/TUIC just last month. Yours looks like he's coming along nicely, how big is he?

Here's a pic of my Araguaia

You did a good job gettin' him up to size.

Here's a pic of an old O that no one has yet been able to positively ID for me. Jeff said he thinks it maybe an uncommon/rare imported fancy O but I'm still pulling for it to be a wild O as I'd love to get my hands on one again and if it is a wild O I know Jeff will get them in sometime in the future. Makes me feel more secure that I maybe able to source one of these guys again and that I didn't sell the pair I had foolishly. Thinking if it is wild it maybe a Rio Itaparana, Purus region Oscar.
