Looking to change my profession and a WTT sounds like a well paying job that has a good secure future ahead. Are any of you WTT's?

no but i have taken a class and we talked allot about wind turbines it is an interesting field to get into

I'm going to be starting a 6 month school to get my cert in about 2 weeks so I have a busy winter ahead of me.

i have a friend who is a wind turbine tech i see allot of his photos that he takes on top of those huge wind turbines on Facebook he defiantly has an office with a view

Depends where you are I think... Wind Turbines are very "sensitive" subject on the East Coast as its a big migratory route for many avian species. We tried to put one in when I was an engineer down in Cape May, but we couldn't ever get it approved, and that was Federal Land...

he just started hes been a tech for around 7 months now maybe? i haven't talked to him since i got out of college around a year ago. i just see Facebook statuses
