I want it just plain oak with doors but something somewhat nice. The place I got the tank wanted $900...

i can build one for you for $899.99 if you want me to...free delivery.

Why not just get a metal frame then a nice wood finish? There are a ton of great welders in the area that would take the job for great prices.

like who? You know any? I can build a wood skeleton stand like I did for my 210 but it looks terrible in my living room

build the skeleton out of 2x4 and 4x4, face it with plywood, then you can finish how you like from there. you can put a finish-type of wood, like oak right onto the skeleton as well if you like, and give it a sort of planked look. could also add ceramic tiles to the stand to give it a look of being a marble stand or something of the nature. you can tile it, carpet it, wood it, sheetrock it. anything you want to make it match your house and decor

PM me if you need help, or interested in having it built. id be glad to take the job on, and i could do it right on the spot in a day or so. no need for moving or anything of the sort. my wood stand has been holding my 250 for quite sometime. i was a contractor by trade, before entering big business, so this isnt much of a challenge :)
