i use hikari ciclid bio-gold. mine seem to like it. my serra maculatus he wont touch them even after being starved. pygo natts are just less picky eaters.

I feed mine Massivore, although they like tilapia and shrimp more. It is very messy feeding them the Massivore; they leave crumbs all over the sand.

I tried the Bio-gold but it's a floating pellet. My RBP's never liked the floating pellets. The sinking pellets is a hole different story. In 1 min. after I throw them in their gone.

Have you tried cutting the pellets in half. If the pellet is too big, they will nibble at it. How big are your RBP's?

I haven't tried cutting them in half. I'll give it a shot. They are around 7" and for the most part are able to get the whole pellet in their mouth, but they still make a mess of them by the way they chew them up.
