Anybody ever use an above ground pool as a pond?

I live in Miami and can't dig very deep in my backyard for a real pond. Any thoughts?

Awesome! Now of course I would have to upgrade the filtration. Any suggestions of a good pond filter?

I made a pond filter with 3 large bins 1st a settlement tank 2nd a biological 3rd a polishing stage. And my mate had an intex pool fir a koi pond worked a treat

Couple in pool pumps up to some filtersocks then down through a drip tower or two.
