Does this count? He’s a 7.25 inch platinum senegal bichir I picked up recently.
The tank is 18 inches wide if it helps you picture his true length better.

Mine are not too big, a large part of their life with me was during a severe drought so they didn't get all the food and waterchanges they deserved :(

Very cool pics everyone, how big are these guys expected to get in the Aquarium? I’ve heard 12 inches and up?
 
As far as I know the 12 inchers are wild caught, captive bred ones tend to get 8-10 inches if given time.
Ever heard of lake turkana? The senegal bichirs there get to 18 inches I think it was. Something about that lake is different than other places.

47cm WC Senegalus from Lake Turkana. Will be seeing the boys from Korin and Big-in next weekend, want to find out when their next Turkana expedition is happening. There was talk of it in their last Bichir meet, and we need some more Turkana goodness in the market!
