anybody heared this before

hi

one my mates told me that he has a 6ft tank with a piranha with 3 comom carp, i have told him to take the carp on and put them in a pond and he said it called a nile piranha or a perch piranha can' rember but one of them he said, have anyone hear of this piranha becuase i have not.

I don't think there are any piranhas go by those two names.
Post some pictures and we can try to ID those piranhas.

my best best nile piranha= african tiger fish, so he should be ok with them in there but if this is so this belongs in other characins not in piranhas

nile river is in africa, tiger fish are sometimes called piranha = nile piranha lol

isn't there a nile perch? also called baramundi? not 100% sure just throwing it out there
