Wow! How did he invest so much at such a young age?

The subways are pretty good actually. Low start up costs (compared to most fastfood places), never really need more then two employees at a time unlike most fast food places, and pretty low food costs, and they do not have to be large so rent is less. The only downside is they strictly do buisiness at lunch. Subways need to be near things like; a mall, hospital complex, large school campus, or in an area with alot of new construction as for some reason construction guys love subway.

He paid only $80K with his dad for his first one, now they are around $180-280K but he says he nets around $70K a year per store so not really bad, especially if you dont mind working yourself to save from paying employees.

I have seriously been considering getting into a restaurant chain my self. I just cant afford a risk like that right now, but Im still young ;)

My grandparents owned a restaurant and my dad grew up there and grew up running it along with my grandparents....Back then, you owned it, you worked your *** off and the place was one of the most popular in town. Some drunk did come in once and shot at my dad when he was only 19 while trying to rob the place...anyway, the place doesnt exist anymore so I don't know if you really care now, but back then you couldnt just own a place and let other people run it while you collect the funds...didn't work that simply.

never owned one but i have been an executive chef in a half dozen restaurants.Until i got smart enough to be a personal chef.
