What kind I want to know if there legal or illegal can't find out the dfo said prohibited in ontario but no such ban in bc

Like i told you in the last thread, Ban's only in place in Ontario, and As of april this year quebec as well. No ban in BC yet so all species are legal to own for now.

If they ever become illegal ,here is a little secret...Don't tell anyone you have one like all the asian arowana owners and snakehead owners do in the U.S..

Only asian arowanas. Silvers, blacks, jardinis, etc are perfectly legal

I have heard that theyre population in the wild has greatly diminished, but aquarists, mainly in asia, continue to breed them succesfuly
