Anybody keep Elopichthys bambusa??

I am very interested in getting one of these"killer carp." Anybody keep them? I heard that they can get to 2 metres and thrive in cold waters. I am planning to put one in a pond outside in Canada. Think they will thrive?? How big do they grow in captivity?? Any pics of yours?

I had one for a short while before my ST decided to eat it....I did not know that they were carp.
