I've always liked them but don't see them around any more. Assuming this is just a older/unpopular strain now. Anybody still have them or know where I can find them? I forgot about them for a while until I saw this one on aquaticwonderland.

The FH hobby is trendy.
But they are really cool fishes. If I can keep all the fishes I want, an rm has to be one of em because of aggressive personality, structure, face, fins, and strength. Always been the mightiest fh in my opinion.
Aquabid.com. Hit up a seller.

I knew to check there and didn't even think of it..

all I found was one overpriced red monkey..

That's a nice RM on aquabid. Price is a little much but nice fish. I'm pretty sure that RM/Super Red Shock are pretty close to the same. Though JP or someone else might help to clarify.

I have a RM/SRS and it's one of my favorite fish. By far the most aggressive cichlid I've ever owned. Attacks his heater for no good reason, and jumps out of the top of the water and hits the glass tops out of the blue(his water level is about 5" from the lid) and he's only 4".

All in all awesome fish though especially if you get one that fades all the way.

thanks guapote, I just really like the color and I really like the freemarkings of these breeds. I have a rose queen right now with great color he just reminds me of a midas/devil too much.

i just saw one today... beautiful fish

any pictures guys?

Your "petsmart midas" can be called RM/SRS;) I don't know why you want to look for their pics when you own one in your tank?:headbang2
RM/SRS is a type of a kamfa, created by crossing midas x syn or syn x parrot.
