looking for some information on the grammodes cichlid and the Dhonti cichlid??? done my research and wont to know what yall know
anybody know much bout these cichlids

Grammodes is a very aggressive and sometimes secretive. They do not play well with others, and tend to kill tankmates. Pic below is the male
I have had mine about 2 years, and keep the pair in a 75 gal tank, with no tankmates. I started with 6 juvies from the ACA convention auction in Milwaukee. A pair formed and the pair killed off the others. They have spawned 3 or 4 times since.
I need to sit very still for about 20 minutes to see them, as they are in constant hiding. I do see them when they raise fry, and patrol the school.
I have never had dhonti, and don't comment on anything I haven't kept.
