Anybody know of any aquarium stores that want to sell their complete store? Or where to buy equipment for it (tanks, filtration, AIO systems?)

So you just want a ready made store and not do any of the work doing research, finding proper equipment, or developing a brand?

I don’t mean to be rude, but if you want to make money there’s plenty of other ventures to go into. if you want to own a fish store, im sure it would be more rewarding to set it up yourself…

I say this as someone who has worked at fish stores for almost a decade, and is working on opening one. Do not do it if you want to make any good money. And don’t do it if you think that it’s a business you can just buy into with very little experience in the industry.

iirc the OP of this thread is the owner of exoticfishguy.com, not going to name drop as I'm unsure if it is the real owner but if it is, he runs that online store and maybe they're trying to expand into a physical storefront as I don't think or know if they have an actual physical location. when I bought eels from them they were great but pretty sure they were kept at home rather than in a storefront. aside from this store thing. great owner and service and I believe his business can work out really well as his import of eels seems pretty reliable. also seems like a decent opportunity as many LFS where I'm located seem to be going out of business and if specialized in exotics it could prove to be a great business.

Haha No problem, i’m still not going to name drop the owners as i’m unsure if they want to stay anonymous but i’m fine with my name being public, I run shernbert aquatics on instagram and we spoke yesterday about your newest shipment of eels i believe. the communication was nice
