So just cruising through quality marine, bored as usual, and found this labeled as lophiodes sp. Scientific name please!

Cool little Spotted-tail angler. It's one of the smaller goosefish species which can grow to a bit over a foot and a half. But, usually reaches just under a foot in length. For more info, look up: Lophiodes caulinaris. If you decide to attempt this species be aware that it can eat prey it's own size.
Never knew you cold KEEP goosefish, Pretty cool still though. Just saw this and had never seen an angler like it. Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm going to start my FIRST marine tank soon so i'm really excited! Not with this fish of course!
I have droves of stuff that would be cool to identify so if anybody would like to, (for whatever reason,) just ask. Lol
