Anybody know where to get garnet sand near LA?

You should b in luck in LA… seems to come from there. Hopefully some locals chime in for ya ??… i just ordered mine through Zoro.com , barton 36CG… extremely happy with it. Took 68 days, but it was well worth the wait.
So for hobbyists looking to buy garnet in the LA area. There are two places that I know about. The one I used was Blast Coast, Inc. In Ranch Cucamonga, CA...thank you

The other is called SurfacePrep in Paramout, CA.
The garnet at Blast Coast is $0.36 lb. So it was around 40 bucks for 110 ibs
It is 20/40 mesh which is their largest so between 425-1000 mics, seems synonymous with 36 grit which is how it was listed on their site. The next finer grade they have is 30/60. The stuff needed only 1 rinse. This is a pic of the tank 30 minutes after adding the substrate.
