some kind of bubble or stuff coming out of dorsal fin. Some times it gets real big like a bubble or balloon hanging off. You can see part of the spike is gone. Seems like infection or something coming out.
Anybody seen this on flowerhorn?

Yes water is clean I change every week. Yes did salt for a week. I don't wanna start adding meds till I know what it is.
Do you use tap water? How long has this fish been in the tank? It could be ich, as ich can form spots, and sometimes bubbles (i think). It can also be Gas Bubble Disease. In person, are the bubbles clear? When did you do your last water change, and what is the temp?
Yes I do use tap water. He has been in tank for about a year. I did water change yesterday a day early. I do water change on all my tanks every Wednesday. I also use prime with all my water changes. It doesn't look like ich to me i have had plenty of fish with that. Yes bubbles are clear, sometimes you might see a pinkish or red color in them. About three months I been seeing this and it seems its starting on other dorsal spikes now.

I am not sure. I only read about how to spot them. Other more experienced mfkers will chime in on this.
