found yellow mass like scrambled egg in my female tank thinking it might be embryo female mated with male last week and got chewed up preety bad thinkng she has aborted

Yes! Seen it a couple of times Terry.

I would describe it as more of an orange colour rather than yellow? Sadly on both occasions the female blew up around the abdomen, stopped feeding, became lethargic coupled with heavy breathing ...... I lost them both. This too was after an aggressive attempt to breed the female soon after giving birth.

Hope you have more luck than I did.

I still have no idea what causes this.

Shoot I have a female that just did this last night same prob aggressive breeding followed by not eating
