Anybody use quikrete pond pebbles, river pebbles or drainage rock in their aquariums.

I wanted to add some rockwork for a south american tank with my manzanita wood and was wondering if it's safe to use lowes quikrete pond pebbles, river pebbles or drainage rock after washing off the dirt. I like the way the drainage rock looks.

I've used the quikrete pea gravel before with no I'll effects but weren't sure about the other 3.

Seems to be collected from rock pits and quarries. I’d assume it should be safe.

I mixed in Quikcrete river gravel into the substrate of one of my tanks. Looks good & works great. I believe the bags were labeled "Pond safe".
