I watch it once and awhile but find it a little fake at times.
Whats the deal do they supply the cars or buy them off the racers before hand.
Really am curious.

the racers bring their own cars that they made specifically for the show

they taped an episode at a drag strip by my house, it deffinately isnt fake.

yeah i live about 2 miles from O'reilly Raceway Park (formerly Indianapolis Raceway Park) and i went to it when they did a show there and i agree it is definitely not fake

They sign over the ownership of the vehicles to the host before they begin the racing. The host then signs the ownership of both vehicles to the winner. That is my understanding of it...........

Thanks for the input but what I find difficult is how uneven the cost per portion is between some cars.. One show I watched with Mustangs had a guy run a parts car fixed up against a pro built , now that doesn't seem real I wouldn't put up a pink if my car cost 25g and his was 10g

I think some the guys are looking for street credibility for their businesses; not a bad forum to display their creations. I agree it is a big risk in some cases but I think it is legit.

I saw the early episode where a guy lost his new V-rod to an old rice burner. The guy kept thinking that since it is the hottest Harley out there that it also has to be the fastest. It was fun watching him lose
