My mate has a female royal and she has this strange line down her belly, he got her like that and has no idea really what it could be. Anyone any ideas?

Only thing we can think of is shes had problems laying eggs one time and took to the vets and had the eggs cut out her. She's definatly not in pain and handles and eats absolutly fine

That's what I would think too. That is a weird looking scar though...interesting really
 
That definitely looks like a healed incision. It had to be operated on to have a scar like that. I'm assuming the history of the snake is unknown, or you'd know what it was from. I don't know enough about snake anatomy to know what that incision scar is from, hopefully, the snake is healthy and will remain that way.

I agree. That is definitely a scar from a medical instrument, It is to precise, straight, and abrupt to be anything else.
 
If they had to remove reproductive organs than it's high... Generally you wouldn't want to breed smething that had previously been egg bound anyways becuase it tends to reoccur in those animals. She has obviously had a tough time before and should probably remain peacefully as a pet without going through the stress of breeding. Besides...there are already WAY to many ball pythons in the hobby.
