anyone ever breed electric blue jack dempeys? the theory is u need to breed a ebjd with a regular jd and then raise the babies old enough and breed the female with the father. has anyone attempted this or done it?

yeah i believe its a female ebjd and a male common to get the blue strain but idk

ya you deffinetly need to breed the blue with the regular but then u have to raise the babies and take a female blue depsey and breed it back to its male father if im not mistaken. there may be more to it then that. anyway if someone knows plz fill me in. thx

ORMED is the man.. u need to have a EBJD mate with a JD, then u need to have the EBJD mate with its daughter , and BAM 50% EBJD i believe..

I tried to breed them, but my EBJD died a few weeks after i introduced the JD

Needless to say, i was BUMMMMMMMMMMMED!

Read Ormed's threads, ands visit bluejax's site (dedicated to ebjd).

Cross an ebjd with a regular jd. This is usually done with a MALE ebjd and FEMALE jd, though there is no reason why it wouldn't work the other way. The preference for male ebjd is the belief that the female ebjd couldn't stand up to the abuse of a regular male jd. Offspring then crossed with the ebjd parent (again, this is usually the male ebjd with a daughter).
