Anyone breed Fresh Water Gammarus

I wrote an article on raising scuds a while back: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=159452. My article is not specific to Hyalella azteca but should still be useful.

By the way, "gammarus" is not a general term for freshwater amphipods, no matter what the English or the fish food industry have to say about it. Gammarus is just one of many genera of amphipods found in fresh water. :p[/petpeeve]

I have them in nearly every w/d filter. They live, feed, and multiply onder the coarse prefilter pads and within the bio-matrix. Occassionally, they make it by the final stripper sponge and get blown back into the tank. They're between-meal-snacks for the fish.
