anyone breed sand darters?

i think 2 of my sand darters were doin it today
they were twisting up with each other for a long time.
never seen this behavior with them,and ive have around 10 for a long time.
do they lay eggs or livebearer?
so anyone breeding sand darters?

What Genus species are these sand darters? My experience up here in the Northern Latitudes is that Sand Darters require ample food, ample shelter and solitude from each other after the deed is done. (remove the male) Once they have popped and are just fry with yolk, remove the female. Try to maintain a very thin, very fine sand bottom with half a dozen or so smooth, round stones mixed in. This set-up will alow the fry to find areas of slower water. Try daphina, copepods and or rotifers.?
