Anyone currently keep Altum angels?

Altum angels are wild caught, so they are much more prone to diseases than other angels raised in fish farms. You would need acidic pH around 6.5, and there shouldn't be other fish in the tank other than other altums. I don't know much more about them, but they grow a little bit bigger than normal angels.

There are only three species currently identified.
1. Pterophyllum scalare-what you often see
2. Pterophyllum altum
3. Pterophyllum leopoldi

I had five wild Pterophyllum scalare and they were a pain in the butt. The only thing they would eat was live blackworms. I would say that you need to keep up on water changes for them and keep the ph low.
