At this point I’ve gotten used to it, but my loaches like to give me a scare at every feeding.
Same clicking noise every time, and every time I stop and think it’s the sound of wood splitting and my stand is about to come crashing down lol

Luckily it’s just the loaches!

+1 to Midwater, I've never gotten a heart attack from it. Just always knew it was them having the time of their lives.
But loaches playing dead, now that gives me a heart attack!:ROFL::ROFL:

I scored the largest clown loach ever in my life yesterday and he gave me a pretty good scare. “Chubbs” was first laying in its side and breathing which is normal but after 45 mins in the same spot I had to see if he was ok so I gave him a nudge and he had the silliest look like what the heck ? ? ? The next morning he stayed in that same spot not exploring the tank yet. Chubbs has a nice shoal that was interested in him but is not interested in the ? pack yet.

Mine does it all of the time!!! Even tho I know he does it, I still make sure he’s not dead lol he would disappear u see my rock for days sometimes too. Him and my fire eel are my babies literally the best fish to have especially together in my opinion
