Anyone else breed insects for doos

Currently have super worms mealworms micro worms and Isopods all breeding for fish food. Super super easy anyone else do it ??

I raise compost worms, not much to it but one worm bin can produce a fair amount of food.

I've been breeding crickets but it smells very bad hahah I'm almost thinking I'll go back to buying them after I get through the couple thousand I have

Back in the late '90s, when I was residing in Hawaii, I bred crickets and fruit-flies for my tree frogs because they were pretty expensive at lfs.....25 cents a pop. Super easy to breed and I didn't have a smell issue since I was able to keep my breeding "farm" outside year round, living in the tropics

forget about breeding crickets.. dubia roaches are super easy to breed

I have Probally close to a few thousand mealworms there so easy to Breed and all
My fish love them
