anyone else contemplating about selling fish?

so i have a 9.5" THICK male RTM, a F1 rio mag umbee 7" (75% sure female), a F1 pair of 4.5" festae, and a 7" ornate birchir im thinking about selling but i dont want to because i know once they grow out they'll be beautiful and ill kick myself for doing it...anyone else ever had this problem? btw if i sold those fish them im left with a jag, 2 buttikoferi, a red devil, a green terror, a breeding pair of convicts, 2 JDs, and two commen plecos, which EVERYBODY has.....other then the buttikoferis cause they aparrently kill everything lol

so basically im asking for advice, should i put the fish on the market, or wait a year, grow em out and then see where im at?

I would wait see what ur thinkin in a year or 2, plus many times bigger fish will be worth more

Selling fish can be a tough choice. For some reason I seem to sell my African Cichlids about the time they start to look really nice.

However if you are left with your favorite fish and a little extra tank space it may be the right choice. Try selling them one at a time starting with the one you are least attached to.

how big is your tank or tanks?

its a 5'x2'x2' 150 gal, not a permanent home obviously, would be perfect for the pair of festae once they get huge, the umbee i want to get a 240 for(once it hits over a foot) and the other fish id put into separate tanks (mostly 75's but the jag should be able to hang with the umbee for a while lol)
