Just before bed I had been viewing this thread about sexing gulper catfish
And I dreamed I had a pair and I randomly found 8-12 1.5-2 inch baby gulper catfish. I was so excited. I woke up didn’t realize it was a dream until just now.

Anyone else dream about fish? I do it on a kinda normal basis.

A few times. Once I dreamed I got an infection and my hands turned transparent, I could see guppies swimming around inside my hands. Another time I had fish rolling around my living room in hamster balls filled with water. Another a bunch of plecos swam out of my tank into the air and were flying around my house killing and eating people.

Not often but a while back had a dream that I went into my fish room (but not in my own house, but that is how dreams go) and I had about 15 tanks (in real life never have over 5 at a time). Many fish had not been fed forever and many tanks had not been cleaned forever. Woke up in a sweat.

Another time had a dream that the fish were swimming out side the tank. Don't recall what I ate before bed that night!

Whenever I have a dream about my fish they're usually not even in the tank! They're helplessly flapping around on the floor! And I wouldn't call a dream about a failed tank a dream, more like a nightmare!! I'm paranoid as hell about tank failures and that paranoia occasionally manifests itself as very vivid nightmares:cry:. Thankfully they're not that regular.

Have you licked any suspicious colorful stamps lately

Yeah I wouldn’t call mine dreams either, nightmares for sure.
Mine are brought on by anxiety and stress. Last one I recall was seeing my koi dead and searching frantically for survivors.
My dreams get crewl and I end up finding one or two happily swimming around. Then I wake up to the reality that they are all gone.

I think I’ve finally accepted the loss. I haven’t had any nightmares about them for a few weeks now.
