O.K. here's the deal have u ever gone to a forum page (here or not) asked a question and got a really pissy anwser, or u go to a page here and there is like three guys(or girls) that post the heck out of that page and when u go to add you input they come back with thats wrong i'd never do it thats way and even if u had a valid point they won't let u have it, or u ask a question and u get something along the lines of blah blah blah ..... thats what u wanted to hear wasn't it. how the heck is any of this helpfull to anyone

i will admit that i may not allways post on topics i am knowledgeable about but i will write at the end to correct me if i'm wrong (look at some of my posts i REALY do this) b/c i know i don't know everything but i am willing to learn what i dn't know to help someone later on

ok so i was just wondering if anyone else has run in this problem or these ppl and if you on of those ppl (u know who u are) don't be a d!ck its not cool

Don't give up on us. We try to help as best as we can, and keep on topic. Yet there are some members who would rather bash in threads or ignore the correct topic, I'm sure this happens in every forum.

Everyone here is human, nobody is perfect.

You tend to open yourself up to this any time you ask other hobbiests for his or her OPINION. Many of these opinions are based on a lot of years of expierance so you shouldn't be so quick to discount opinions that seem to Differ with your own.

On the flip side of the coin it's quite frustrating for people to post questions about a set up or plan they have NO intention of changing in any way. Basicly they are asking for conformation and nothing else.

seen it,I don't really report it though bc I think if your here to never consider opinions other then your own but instead sit waiting on forums just to bash others (of which, that is usually quite apparent), reguardless of who is actually correct, you will appear the idiot who is really wasting thier time and ruining thier reputation by doing so and thats punishment in it's self... Granted I still do correct these people if I come across it, but it's not like I was lurking in the shadows to do so.

no no no its just an anoyance (can't spell) i have only ever reported one guy but he was trying to get us to break laws to get fish ppl being d!cks is there deal its just stupid that u get like three guys per fish board that think if there anwser isn't taken as fact no ones should

i don't claim to know everything and i think thats a lesson most of us should learn unless your oddball

Yeah. I won't go over to the simply discus site for that reason. I was having a discussion with some characters, jib-jabbing and, called one guy a "schmuck" and offended a bunch of jewish members? And the Disney sites?!? Oh beware! I once mentioned I wanted a cell phone jammer for my next trip to disney and people started quoting laws and threatening me that if I dropped their emergency phone call blah blah blah....

There is a "ignore button" so if it's select individuals you can ignore their posts but needless that won't solve the problem of them correcting you. I would honestly if it gets to be a hassle report the problem in the thread.

There are often many answers to a problem, and you may possess knowledge that even so called experts don't know/haven't experianced and they're just too stubborn to believe you or admit that they're wrong or that you could do something they couldn't. Crazy thing about this hobby is that with so many variables there is alot that is not set in stone and just because someone believes something holds 100% true it doesn't mean it is. I've been there. If I can't get my point across then at a certain point I walk away for a few hours or a few days and realize it's just someone who will never get it.

Only to return and find that thread closed because I created a mass argument.. lol

I'm sorry but I am guilty of being a jerk on threads that I feel the need to be. Especially on the stupid topics that get brought up over and over and over again where it could of been solved by a simple search. I will call you out on it. And throw a good :repost: at you.

I never claimed to know everything. In fact, I've always said that the more I learn about this amazing hobby of ours, the more I find needs to be learned. Usually, every single answer I find leads to many new questions to research.
