Anyone else here uses Direct TV?

Just wondering how has everyone's experience been with this company.


I wanted the the $29.99 package but when I first got my billed it was $114 and was billed $52 there after. I tried calling them to work it out but each and every time I just get passed from one department to the next till someone eventually just puts me and hold and hangs up. I tried canceling service but they threatening me with $140 for early termination. I'm thinking about just canceling, pay the fee and be done with this scamming company.

Similar issues. Rebated price took 6 weeks to take affect. I will be dumping them after the promo/sale price is up in 10 months. I don't like the fact that every time it rains or snows no TV..

i have them. tv reception is fine for me. customer service sucks just like any other cable/cell phone company out there. my rebates took effect right away though

im a land lord and live right next to my tenants and i drilled a hole in the wall along time ago. i pulled there cable wire into my house and bam free tv and internet.

lol i dont know about you guys but i taped into my dish and i have direct t.v they are conartists yes but who isnt these days.... dish network? LOL..

Thanks for the heads up.I have dish network and was thinking of switching to get the "free" dvr.Not really free from either company but cheaper than tivo.Dish network works out slightly cheaper every time I compare plans,but they want to charge extra for the dvr cause im not a new customer
