Fishing was starting to heat up around my area(clearwater) pretty good until this front blew in. Snook have started to move in good, got a nice 30in. slot sized one today. Trout fishing has been crazy the past few months over here i caught a monster 28in. gator trout the other night pics coming soon. like to here if anyone else is doing good. Tight Lines.

I imagine you have a boat? I took off from work today and went same place I like to fish . Which is border of Glades by canals ,lakes (no boat).
I havent gone in couple of weeks and though it has rained last 2 days the water level was very low . It was very windy with temp in 70s and nothing bit.
I saw good size peacock bass by lake but they looked like suspended in space as wouldnt move much , had no interest in anything.
The canals were same thing cichlids all types that wouldnt touch a worm,etc.

i live in st. pete and i go to the hot water discharge at the progress power plant and caught a 20 in snook, and 12 in mangrove snapper, and bunch of tiny snappers and on 12 inch red
