Anyone else made a diy snake hook

This is my diy snake hook. Only needed shaft of a golf club, paint roller, and duct tape. Anyone else done this? Post pictures and any better ways to make these

I've made a few hooks of various sizes & designs in the past few months; I need to get around to making some more now that I have more materials.

Also, I really hope that you don't intend on using that hook with anything venomous.

I have seen them pretty similar to that being sold at the NARBC. X2 on the hots, if the hook part was able to spin a little bit it could put you in a really bad situation. I would suggest the next one you make to epoxy the hook in the club shaft.

At first i planned on doin that but honestly im surprised at how strong the ductape is ive lifted up things like benches with it and it never moves

I have one I got made by a machinist for me. I'll post some pics when I get home. Yours looks pretty sweet! I almost did one like that but preferred my design since its collapsible
