took a look at the picture of the Internatinal Game Fish Associations
Picture of the world record channel catfish.
You should notice something funny and obvious.

Isn't it? Comparing to the illustration below...The head looks a little wrong, but the gills and everything are being pulled out of shape. The tail looks like it's probably about right, the tips are laying on the ground making it look like it's not forked.

The anal fin doesn't look like it extends forward far enough compared to the pic, but hard to say for sure.

I’m basing off the head and the tail. The one in the picture has more of a fan tail? The one in the illustration has a forky tail
