Anyone else play with fireworks?

I had a really fun weekend. Two of my cousins and I spent pretty much all friday and saturday shooting fireworks. We started off with bottle rockets and moved up to bigger stuff. So much fun.

Just dont do it in a neighborhood. My neighbors called the police and said some guys were lighting off pipe bombs. We ended up in handcuffs with the bomb squad in our front yard. When they figured out they were just fireworks they let us go. Some people overreact waaaaay to easy.

Not sure if you know about sparkler *ombs? Take 10 packs of sparklers, empty all packs and bunch all the sparklers together. Pull one sparkler out about 4" from the middle of the bunch. Take 1 roll of electrical tape and tape up the whole thing really tight, except the one sparkler coming out the middle as that is your fuse (you can double up the tape too, and use duct tape). You want everything as airtight as possible. The only thing showing through the tape should be the fuse. Next, pick a really remote spot and be careful. You will not believe the concussion sparklers can put off if wrapped right.

ill screw around sometimes with fire, making mini flamethrowers and whatnot.. last night my friends and I found out that empty Monster Import cans explode... violently.... when thrown into a fire.

Im definitely gonna try the sparkler bomb though.

Thats bad and whoever made the complaint should have been cited for making false claims.

Yeah,years ago my brother very badly injured his foot while playing with firecrackers.

That sucks. My cousin told me a story where they were doing bottle rockets and some lady came out of her house and said "Shoot one more and I call the cops!" and went back in. They shot 3 at her house and sprinted away

Yeah they were clearly lying. I hate these types of neighbors that are miserable and call cops because they cant stand others having fun. I had the cops called on me, my brother, and friends, and had a similar experience. We were holding a drill gun we borrowed from one neighbor and walked it next door to our house. Next thing you know like 10 cops cars pull up with guns drawn etc, and said someone called and said we were walking around with an Uzi machine gun.
