Since i sold my 4 bar dat who harassed my Orino for some reason my O has really been more personable, more interactive and more "quirky" i guess then before. Especially at feeding time, when he sees me open the drawer for the pellets he starts zooming side to side, then literally wags his tail. Never had a fish wag its tail out of excitement before lol

Normal thing?

I suppose now the dat's gone / threats gone he's a happy fish plus he'll know that foods for him and the dats not going to muscle him out of it , just my thoughts ;):)

Yeah lol that dat would grab food from right in front of him, now the only dat in there is a 3 bar w/ some symmetrical almost figure 8 spotting, about half the size of the O and he leaves him alone. There is another 3 bar in the grow out will be going in within a month or so, I'm hoping they'll mess w/ each other not the bass

My O is getting really spangled up, he is basically the "wow" fish of the tank until people realize there's like 5 bichirs on the bottom AOL couple recent pics of the O

Looks like a nice bass :)
I'm bass sitting atm for my mate while he upgrades his tank , I'll post some pics asap

Thanks guys, an endli? Haha I'd like to see my bichirs do that, they just arch their backs and look up when I start dropping food in.

I put a green texas in the main tank for the short term, the O and gt are pretty evenly matched in terms of aggression. They punk each other constantly, but now the O doesn't beat on my Geo so much so its chill. The Texas will be staying in the 70 to breed with some festae
