Sorry if this has been asked before...

I was feeding a largish silver aro at work (around 2' plus) and as i was dumping in Hikari Food Sticks, the aro turned around and grabbed my hand. It hurt :WHOA: Bled in three places where teeth punctured through the skin and had several papercut like slices too.

I've been bitten several times by asians and jars...but this silver bite i will remember haha.

i have it wasn't bad just got nipped when it jumped for a shrimp

I had a similar experience hand feeding my old silver of the same size. Had about 7 "paper cut" style cuts running down my index and thumb

I was nipped yesterday feeing my Black :)

stuck my hand in a tank filled with silvers and turned out one was hungry. gave me a lil jump because i was actually trying to see if a soft shell turtle was alive. got me by surprise.

When I had my large SIlver (46") my then 8 yr old son stuck his finger in the heater hole on the top of my acrylic tank. The Aro hammered him 18 stitches. Both inner and outer. It did quite the number on him

MY silver would bite my fingers, never drew blood. Mine was only about 12-13" when it would nibble me.
